Serangan kejam itu membunuh empat rakyat Palestin, dan mencederakan 40 yang lain. Ambulans juga terpaksa melalui kawasan yang diserang regim zionis itu ketika cuba untuk memindahkan pesakit ke pusat perubatan Shifa.
Laporan awal menunjukkan rakyat Palestin yang terbunuh adalah seorang pesakit dan tiga saudara-mara pesakit yang dimasukkan ke hospital itu. Serangan yang memusnahkan unit pengeluaran oksigen, wad bersalin, unit penjagaan segera dan wad pembedahan mengakibatkan semua perlatan itu tidak boleh berfungsi lagi akibat pengeboman Israel yang mensasarkan hospital.
