Beliau mengingatkan bahawa penemuan terowong al Ain ketiga membuktikan apa yang menyibukkan \u2018Israel\u2019 terhadap Hamas hari-hari ini.<\/p>\n<p>Edelstein menuduh bahawa ketua tentera bahagian selatan Brigade al Qasssam iaitu Brigade Rafah, Muhammad Sinwar, bertanggungjawab terhadap terowong terakhir, yang sudah mula berjalan kerja-kerjanya pada tahun 2010. Beliau menilai penemuan terowong ini merupakan pukulan strategik kepada gerakan Hamas yang melaburkan sebahagian besar perbelanjaan dan sumber manusiannya dalam membangun terowong-terowong tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Beliau menambah, perhatian Hamas terhadap terowong sebanding perhatian militan \u2018Israel\u2019 untuk mencarinya dan menganggapnya sebagai fokus utama. Beliau mengingatkan agar semua bahagian keselamatan yang telah diamanahkan untuk memfokuskan usaha untuk mencari terowong-terowong tersebut dan mencari jalan penyelesaian atas masalah ini. Beliau mengakui bahawa Hamas mula melakukan pengembangan sepanjang waktu dan secara signifikan.
