Sammour telah diisytiharkan mati di tempat kejadian. Seramai 14 rakyat Palestin cedera oleh peluru hidup dan keluli bersalut getah yang ditembak oleh tentera Israel, yang bertindak untuk menghalang protes tersebut. Lebih 3,000 rakyat Palestin yang mengambil bahagian dalam demonstrasi itu, yang dipanggil oleh pihak-pihak negara dan Islam Palestin, untuk menyokong Gaza dan membantah pembunuhan beramai-ramai Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Odai Nafez Jaber, 19, tercedera dengan tiga peluru hidup semasa protes berhampiran bandar Ramallah-kawasan berhampiran Saffa.
