\nIsnin, 11\/06\/07 –<\/b>Dr. Mustafa Al-Barghouthi, Menteri Penerangan Palestin dan juga Jurucakap Kerajaan mengecam keputusan pemerintah Israel untuk terus melakukan serangan bersenjata ke Semenanjung Gaza.
\n
\nBarghouthi dalam satu siaran akhbar memberi amaran bahawa pertambahan askar hanya akan menyulitkan keadaan dan mengakibatkan berlakunya keganasan yang lebih besar di rantau ini.<\/p>\n

“Kita berharap agar pemerintah Israel bertanggungjawab terhadap inisiatif kerajaan perpaduan Palestin (gencatan senjata) sebaliknya mereka berkeras untuk mengenepikannya,” menteri itu menggariskan. Beliau menjelaskan keputusan Israel yang berikrar untuk melaksanakan arahan Perdana Menteri Israel, Ehud Olmert, bukan untuk menangani secara positif tawaran bersama Palestin atas dasar “keamanan yang komprehensif, saling bertindak dan selari”.<\/p>\n

Barghouthi berkata keputusan Israel jelas membuktikan tiada rakan kongsi keamanan di pihak Israel dan membuktikan tanpa sebarang keraguan yang munasabah bahawa Israel merupakan penghalang usaha untuk keamanan.
