Rabu ,31\/12\/2008 –<\/b>Para penganalisis Israel menegaskan bahawa perang yang dilakukan oleh militan Israel ke Gaza memasuki fasa sukar. Mereka menegaskan bahawa pukulan keras pertama dan mengejutkan oleh Israel sudah selesai. Kejayaan militan yang mengundang rasa kagum sudah mulai menurun dan musuh (pejuang Palestin) mulai bangkit dan berkobar, merujuk serangan roket Al-Qassam semalam.

\nPenganalisis politik Israel di akhbar Haaretz Israel, Alov Ben menyebutkan bahawa konflik antara elit Israel berkenaan sama ada perang akan dilanjutkan atau dihentikan sudah mulai kedengaran.
