Selasa, 22\/06\/2010 – N<\/strong>egara Jerman telah membidas tindakan Israel yang menghalang Dirk Niebel (gambar), Menteri Pembangunan Jerman dari memasuki Semenanjung Gaza. Menteri tersebut telah merancang untuk berjumpa dengan pelarian palestin di Gaza semasa lawatan beliau ke kawasan bergolak itu.<\/p>\n

Menurut Niebel, lawatannya ke Gaza tidak patut dihalang kerana ia boleh memberikan gambaran kepada masyarakat dunia bahawa Israel telah menukar strategi politiknya ke atas permasaalahan di Gaza.<\/p>\n

Niebel telah merancang untuk melawat wilayah Palestin yang dikuasai oleh Hamas untuk berjumpa dengan pekerja bantuan kemanusiaan Pertubuhan Bangsa-bangsa Bersatu (PBB) di sana.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu di Jerman, Guido Westerwelle, Menteri Luar Jerman telah mengeluarkan kenyataan bahawa Jerman kesal dengan keputusan pihak berkuasa Israel yang menghalang kemasukan menterinya ke Gaza. Selain itu, Jerman juga menegaskan bahawa ia dan negara-negara Kesatuan Eropah mahu melihat sekatan ke atas Gaza itu dihentikan.<\/p>\n
