Ahad, 04-05-2014 – Dr. Yusuf Rizqa, penasihat politik PM Palestin Ismail Haniyah, menegaskan bahawa pemerintah Haniyah telah bersedia untuk menyerahkan fungsi dan tanggungjawabnya kepada kerajaan perpaduan nasional dan melaksanakan kesepakatan.
Rizqa mengatakan, pemerintah yang dipimpin Ismail Haniyah sejak Deklarasi Doha sudah siap sedia untuk merealisasikan kerajaan perpaduan. Hal ini sangat jelas.Beliau melihat bahawa tuntutan yang muncul di media massa terhadap PM agar mengajukan pengunduran diri bukan pada tempatnya.
Beliau menambah, “Tidak perlu mengundur diri agar tidak berlaku kekosongan dalam kerja pemerintahan. Masalah ini sudah pasti (Haniyah menyerahkan fungsinya) ketika telah terbentuk kerajaan perpaduan nasional untuk melaksanakan kesepakatan.”
