Jumaat , 11-07-2014 – Ahli Parlimen (MP) HAMAS Ismail al-Ashqar menegaskan bahawa Pihak pejuang tidak akan menjamin keamanan kepada penjajah Israel sehingga mereka menamatkan serangan dan mengangkat pengepungan ke atas Gaza.
Beliau berkata dalam satu kenyataan pada Selasa bahawa keamanan hanya akan dicapai dengan syarat-syarat yang ditetapkan pejuang.
Pesawat tempur Israel terus melakukan serangan ke atas bangunan awam di Semenanjung Gaza manakala pihak pejuang membalas dengan menghantar roket ke arah sasaran Israel.
Bagi pihaknya, jurucakap HAMAS Husam Badran menulis dalam laman Facebooknya pada Selasa bahawa memberhentikan serangan roket merupakan ‘mimpi Zionis’. Beliau menambah bahawa Israel yang memulakan serangan, manakala penduduk Palestin hanya mempertahan diri dan tanah air mereka.
