Jumaat , 05-09-2014 – Rakyat Palestin di seluruh Gaza keluar beramai-ramai untuk menyertai perarakan kemenangan pada Jumaat, selepas mereka berpeluang untuk solat Jumaat kali pertama dalam 50 hari di masjid sekitar Gaza tanpa bimbang diserang tentera penjajah Israel.
Agensi Berita Maan melaporkan walaupun majlis tempatan menganggarkan satu pertiga masjid rosak dalam serangan Israel termasuk 72 yang musnah, rakyat Palestin tetap membanjiri masjid ketika pemimpin politik berkhutbah di atas mimbar menekankan perpaduan nasional selepas mereka meraih kemenangan ke atas Israel.
Pegawai kanan Hamas, Khalil al-Hayya berkata, ketika khutbah Jumaat di Shuja’eyya: “rakyat Palestin telah memasuki era baru hari ini (Jumaat), dan berjaya mencapai perpaduan nasional dengan menyokong perjuangan (menentang penjajahan Israel).”
